QA Game Tester

As a Contract Tester reporting to the Assistant Software Test Lead or Software Test Lead, you will be responsible for creating/running test cases, entering bugs, and performing regression testing. Teamwork and a professional attitude are KEY in this role. Composure and interpersonal skills are crucial in this role. Both verbal and written communication skills are a MUST!

Key responsibilities

• Identify software bugs, run test suites, verify fixes, test tools and compatibility matrices.
• Enter bugs/tasks into the bug tracking system.
• Create/run test cases and test suites to help identify and resolve issues.
• Provide internal support and information about the product to the company as requested.

Required Skills

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient software and hardware troubleshooting skills
• Proficient in Windows and Macintosh Operating Systems
• Passion for games and gaming
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to remain focused until project completion
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Experience and understanding of console or PC game testing is desirable

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 6 months of technical experience preferred
• Familiarity with console systems is preferred
